Our services are designed to provide guidance and support in your job search, but we cannot guarantee that you will be hired as a result of using our services. We are not responsible for any decisions made by employers or hiring managers.

Our liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us for our services in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Certain consumer protection laws and regulations may confer you with rights and remedies relating to the provision of services by us which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified. To the extent that these laws and regulations apply, our liability is limited to:

  1. Resupplying the services; or
  2. Paying the cost of having the services resupplied.

Governing Law

Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia.

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck and the remaining provisions shall be enforced.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and CareerCompass Australia Pty Ltd with respect to your use of our website and services and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether oral or written, between you and us.

Course Enrollment and Payment

When you enroll in a course offered by CareerCompass Australia, you agree to pay the full fee as advertised. Payment options are available on our website and may include credit card, debit card, and bank transfer. All fees are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST).

We reserve the right to change our course fees at any time without prior notice. However, any changes will not affect courses for which you have already enrolled.

Your enrollment is confirmed upon receipt of full payment or arrangement of an approved payment plan. We may offer installment payment plans for select courses. Details and eligibility criteria for these plans are available upon request.

Failure to make timely payments according to your chosen payment plan may result in suspension or termination of your course access.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

You may cancel your enrollment in a course and request a refund, subject to the following conditions:

  • Cancellations made within 14 days of enrollment are eligible for a full refund, provided that you have not accessed a significant portion of the course content (as determined by CareerCompass Australia).
  • Cancellations made after 14 days of enrollment but before accessing 50% of the course content may be eligible for a partial refund, subject to an administrative fee of 20% of the course fee.
  • No refunds will be granted for cancellations made after accessing 50% or more of the course content.

To request a cancellation and refund, please contact our support team at support@careercompass.com.au with your enrollment details and reason for cancellation. Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of approval.

CareerCompass Australia reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a course due to unforeseen circumstances, such as low enrollment or instructor unavailability. In such cases, you will be offered the option to receive a full refund or transfer your enrollment to an alternative course or future session.
